Vision

The sports industry is full of individuals who want to give back and make a difference. Elite Involvement came about as the result of a conversation between a Georgetown Sports Industry Management professor and myself, a graduate student, during a follow-up call regarding a CSR-based project. The idea was to create the missing puzzle piece that could band together the established sports professional with the charitable organizations that they connected with and optimize the partnership's influence.

The next steps fell into place naturally. As I began research expanding my knowledge on sports philanthropy, I learned that there were very few systems and programs in place to serve as a guide or developer for inquiring sports professionals who may want to host or invest in programs. Athletes, coaches, and other professionals wanted to give back but didn't know how to properly delegate responsibility and disperse the funds that they had available. As a result of seeing this disparity, I figured I'd take on the job. Establishing Elite Involvement in July 2021, later incorporating the organization as a Nonstock Corporation in the state of Virginia, and currently pending 501(c)3 approval, EI has already provided over 200 articles of clothing to persons in need.

Moving forward, passion drives my goals. Growing up I always knew I needed to be a part of something larger than myself. The opportunity to serve as the intermediary between athletes of all ages and community-focused initiatives, connecting them and providing a pipeline for future success has become my driving passion. Since its incorporation in December 2022, EI has 7 Board Members and Officers that are eager to get to work! We always looking for members of the community who can dedicate their time to service. If you or anyone you know may be interested in being part of this journey, never hesitate to reach out!
